YADU AT A GLANCE

Yadu Health Aboriginal Corporation is a non-profit community controlled Aboriginal health service that was first established in 1978.

We currently run programs out of five sites: Clinic and Sobering Up Unit in Ceduna, Seaview Village in Thevenard, Koonibba Outreach Clinic (based at Koonibba Aboriginal Community) and Scotdesco Outreach Clinic (based at Scotdesco Aboriginal Community).

The core business of Yadu is to provide a primary health service to the Aboriginal community of Ceduna, Koonibba and the surrounding district through the provision of doctors (GPs), nurses, visiting specialists, and supporting Aboriginal health workers whose principal activity is in promoting the prevention or control of diseases through providing a range of high quality services designed to improve the wellness and health of Aboriginal people.

“Yadu has a wonderful depth of leadership united in their commitment to invest in their people, systems and infrastructure to drive innovation and deliver the best results for their community”

Shane Webster, Jawun General Manager, Regions
