SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL WELLBEING (SEWB)

Our team provides support to the social and emotional wellbeing of our community through a range of programs and in partnership with other agencies.

 

We offer services like Emergency Financial Assistance, Gambling Intervention, Family Support, Art Therapy, Housing Support, Counselling, Advocacy and Liaison Domestic Abuse Health and Wellness Programs.

COMMUNITY HOME SUPPORT

Working alongside Seaview Village Daxene and Cyril provide services to support in-home care for the elderly in our community to allow them to stay living in their own homes for as long as they can.

 

This includes and is not limited to transportation, home maintenance, domestic assistance, group meals, shopping assistance, home visit, personal care and social support.

Sobering Up Unit Staff
SOBERING UP 
UNIT
 

Our Sobering Up Unit offers a safe and caring environment for vulnerable people that offers an alternative to "sleeping rough." We assist clients in addressing substance abuse problems by providing information, advice, support and referral on drug and alcohol related issues. 

 

In doing so, the Unit will provide services that lessen the risk of people being detained in police cells and ensuring effective and efficient liaison with relevant community groups, health professionals, organisations and agencies.
